The development of the Information and Computer Technology Division has strengthened its capabilities in the field of operational and cybersecurity, for fixed and mobile networks. Since cyber defense and security are key characteristics of military and civilian security, the unit needed a product portfolio that would take this into account. In 2019, the division took an important step in this direction by signing a partnership agreement with Cisco Solution Technology Integrator, which will allow OPTOKON to promote and sell our Cisco-based secure solutions to the global Cisco community. In May of this year, OPTOKON signed a technology integration agreement, which means that the company has the right to "integrate" Cisco products and software into OPTOKON solutions. OPTOKON became the first Cisco partner in the Czech Republic.
OPTOKON is also a selected Cisco Certified Partner with Express Specialization. OPTOKON's products produced in cooperation with Cisco to date are the LMSW E2U managed switch, the LMSW-E33 switch and the LMSR-R63 router.
In May 2020, OPTOKON signed an Agreement with a technology solutions integrator, which means that the company has the right to "embed" Cisco products and software into OPTOKON solutions. Now our company can be recommended to end customers as a Cisco Systems partner in the field of solution technology integration, possessing all the necessary knowledge related to design, configuration, installation, and maintenance. This partnership is an access to a global business platform for industry leaders who develop solutions that drive digital change using Cisco technologies.
