Broadband single-mode plug-in attenuators of the CAA series are used directly at the ends of fiber optic cables before installation into adapters. These attenuators provide a fixed, precise attenuation level and have excellent return loss. Their low wavelength dependence makes them suitable for use in WDM (wavelength division multiplexing) and DWDM (dense wavelength division multiplexing) transmission systems. CAA series attenuators are available with UPC or APC polishing for SC, FC, DIN, and LC connector types, as well as with UPC polishing for ST and MU connectors.

- Precise attenuation, high resistance to high power
- Wide attenuation range, 1 dB step
- Return loss: > UPC 50 dB, > APC 60 dB
- Wide-range device with low noise level for operation in the wavelength range of 1250 to 1650 nm

Single-mode and multi-mode adapter-type attenuators of the CBA series provide a fixed attenuation level at a specific wavelength. Single-mode attenuators of the CBA series are available for SC, FC, and ST connector types. The operating wavelength range for single-mode applications is 1310 nm or 1550 nm, and for multi-mode applications, it is 850 nm or 1300 nm.
