LMDS is a Lightweight Mobile Data Switch in a portable case, powered by a built-in UPS. Both devices meet the required IP protection class. It can be powered by 230V AC mains or 24V DC. The batteries have a state monitoring feature - a transparent window on the lid.
The switch, based on proven Cisco ESS 3300 technology in a ruggedized design, meets all requirements for building and operating mobile data networks.
A BB-2590U type battery with a capacity of 10 Ah serves as a backup power source. This assembly ensures compatibility with charging sources used on the modern battlefield, such as L3Harris FALCON II, III, and FALCON IV radios.
