QUICK-CURE™ Splice On Connector

QUICK-CURETM is a new type of optical connector for field use. The pre-polished connector (SC, LC type) is designed for fiber optic termination, especially in FTTH projects, directly at the end user's site. With a toolkit containing all necessary tools, optical network installation can be easily performed. Termination without epoxy, heating, polishing, or splicing provides the same excellent transmission parameters as standard polishing and splicing technology. A set of connectors is available for different fiber and cable diameters. QUICK-CURETM helps save time when working in the field.

Features:

The OPTOKON Splice On Connector SOCF is a universal connector for field use. The basis of SOCF is fusion splicing technology, the connector joins the end of the optical fiber. The factory pre-polished tip eliminates the need for polishing, adhesives, matching gels, and crimping in the field. Using a fusion splicer for connector termination in the field provides a very reliable connection and minimizes the possibility of operator error and costly connector rejection. Compared to other field-installable connector technologies, the SOC fusion technology provides excellent return loss, which is practically independent of the factory APC and UPC polishing process.
