The PM-830-FTTX Optical Power Meter and LS-830-FTTX Optical Light Source are designed for efficient testing and maintenance of FTTH-PON networks. The PM-830-FTTX measures and displays voice, data, and video signals simultaneously, while the LS-830-FTTX provides three wavelengths for comprehensive testing. Both devices feature rechargeable batteries, compact design, and user-friendly interfaces, making them ideal for field use.
PM-830-FTTX Optical Power Meter
The PM-830-FTTX optical power meter is designed for simultaneous measurement and display of all signals – voice, data, and video. It can be used as a portable power meter or as a USB probe, part of a testing workstation. The FTTX tester is perfect for testing PON services during activation and maintenance. It has a memory capacity that allows storage and uploading of up to 2000 measurements, which can be easily exported to Excel, Word, or any other application.
Two versions available:
- Single port: Designed for measurement at the end sides of optical lines, requiring disconnection of the active device from the optical lines for measurements.
- Dual port: Features two optical ports (IN/OUT) allowing measurements of uninterrupted optical lines with the connected active device, pass-through testing mode. Optimized for testing GEPON and GPON standards, with an upstream transmission speed of up to 1.25 Gbps. The 1310 nm channel provides correct power measurements of burst type upstream PON signals. The changeable connector/adaptor design allows simple exchange of optical PC or APC connectors (FC, SC) and easy cleaning of the output connector ferrule after removing the connector adaptor. LC/PC and LC/APC are also available.

LS-830-FTTX Optical Light Source
The LS-830-FTTX optical light source is designed for simultaneous testing of three wavelengths on optical lines, especially in FTTH-PON projects. It combines 1310 nm, 1550 nm, and 1490 nm output wavelengths at one output port. In cooperation with the PM-830-FTTX power meter, it allows simultaneous measurement and display of all three wavelengths. It is also possible to measure at one or two wavelengths if required.
